NonHemeのFe(IV)Oxo錯体の分子内酸素移動でSがS=Oになるという。Fe(II)も水素結合で可逆的という。興味深い反応である。X線構造解析のデータが心強い。
Models of Metalloenzymes
pubs.acs.org/JACSbeta/jvi/issue21
"Models of Metalloenzymes" refers to synthetic complexes designed to replicate aspects of the active sites of metalloenzymes, novel catalysts that operate with high selectivity and efficiency to promote biologically and environmentally important chemical reactions.
Studies of metalloenzyme model complexes can provide detailed, fundamental chemical insights into metal complex and active site geometries, electronic structures, and reaction mechanisms that can be a basis for postulating new reaction pathways, understanding spectroscopic properties, and designing new catalysts.
Such studies can also lead to the discovery of unforeseen molecules with novel and intrinsically interesting attributes.
